The Newcomb & District Sports Club was formed on September 16th 1975 at a public meeting held in the small pavilion at Erwin Reserve Newcomb and approximately 100 people attended and elected a committee of 21. Five notable foundation members were Glen Drake, Paul McDonald, David Wilson, Laurie Wanders and Chris Morton. The Newcomb & District Sports Club is located at Grinter's Reserve, Coppards Road Newcomb. (Next to Splashdown)
